5-EAPB is a benzofuran analogue of MDMA with an N-ethyl group1. Structurally related to 5-MAPB and 5-APB, it was initially sold as a replacement for 5-MAPB. The cited paper noted that no published studies had reported the psychotropic or toxic effects of these benzofurans, including 5-EAPB, and that little was known about their pharmacology1.
