Pargy-LAD
Pargy-LAD is a synthetic psychedelic of the lysergamide class closely related to LSD. It produces LSD-like psychedelic effects described as significantly less distinct. Its chemical structure differs from LSD by having a propynyl group in place of a methyl group.1 Pargy-LAD was developed by David E. Nichols and colleagues at Purdue University in the 1980s and was described in Alexander Shulgin’s 1997 book TiHKAL.

Addiction & Dependence
Psychological
Extremely LowFormal studies are lacking, but PARGY-LAD appears to have low habit-forming potential, with desire to use tending to decline after repeated administration.
Psychosis Risk
Lithium and psychedelic combinations may significantly increase psychosis risk, while cannabis and stimulants may increase adverse psychological reactions including anxiety, paranoia, panic attacks, and psychosis.
Seizure Risk
Lithium with psychedelics may significantly increase seizure risk, and tramadol may lower seizure threshold in susceptible individuals.
